Texas Steakhouse in Saloon Smitdfield

Horrible!!!!! Our baked potatoes were hard and burned in the microwave, the sauce for the blossom petals was nothing but watered down honey mustard that was liquified, my husband's sautéed mushrooms were burnt black and the lettuce in the salads were rusty and had so much water in the plates they were floating. The waitress was nice but I didn't have a drink for the last half of my meal (the only thing i could eat was the steak, it was delicious) and when she finally asked if we wanted refills she didn't bring them for another 10 minutes. This is the 3rd time I've been in the past 6 months and it just gets worse, I will not be going back!

Simple and dark decor makes me think of what a steakhouse might look like. It was clean, comfortable, and our server was friendly. We ordered a burger and catfish strips with crab cake. Burger was cooked perfectly medium. Catfish was crisp. Crab cake was good but could have had more crab in it. Overall a good experience.

Just not that impressed. There wasn't anything wrong with it, per say, just underwhelmed. Had lunch and they were good about the social distancing. Getting our name on the wait list was via text, and our table was ready in about 20 minutes. Again notified via text, so that part was pretty nifty. Masks are required until you get your drinks? Then you can take them off. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but that was fine. We all had masks, so we wore them in. Place was pretty clean.Had steak, burger, chicken tenders and grilled chicken. The onion straws were good. Chips and dip not so much. Again the food was okay. Nothing to get excited over.

Baked potatoes were no half way done...lettuce in salad was brown...lots of water in our salads and sauce for blossom petals was like watered down dripping off the onion it was so thin..mushrooms burnt crispy. Wow this place has really went down hill. Have to add service was pretty good and steaks were great. They did take the salads off our bill. Don't think we will be back.

Nice clean and friendly place. Everyone said they enjoyed their meal. my steak was juicy and flavorful.would come back again.
